How do I get a Certificate of Insurance?

A Certificate of Insurance, or COI, is issued after a policy is purchased and shows basic information about the policy. A landlord or client may also request additional insured status or a specific endorsement. The certificate itself does not change the policy or create coverage that is not included in it.
