Is my Wisconsin bar or restaurant liable for serving a customer who causes an accident?

Usually not. Wisconsin grants broad civil immunity to alcohol providers under s. 125.035. The main exception is serving an underage person when you knew or should have known their age and the alcohol substantially caused injury to a third party. Your carding and training procedures carry real weight.
